York is an enchanting city with winding streets between the castle walls that have been preserved. Originally founded by the Romans and long referred to as the capital of the North, you must discover this historic city on foot. A favourite place is the York Museum where they have a mock-up of a Victorian Street, complete with shops and carriages. A must see.
