The capital of Denmark is still unknown territory for many. However, this bustling hip city has a lot to offer and is well worth a visit.

The city is located on the Sound (Øresund) and the bridge of the same name takes you to the Swedish city of Malmö. The city has 647,000 inhabitants (2022) and is the economic and cultural centre of Denmark. Also, the residence of the Royal Family and the seat of Parliament.

Since the Middle Ages it was already a merchant port and that is how it got its name. Its rich history means that today there are still many sights to discover in this beautiful lively city where 'hygge' is an asset.

The mermaid, created by Hans Christian Andersen, is just one location on everyone's programme, but your guide, who also lives there, will show you all the most important pearls of the city.
Don't put off any longer and book this city trip to the north, it won't disappoint you.
