We will take one full day to discover the impressive Palace of Versailles. Louis XIV expanded the castle into a gigantic structure in an 800 hectare domain. The first architect was Louis Le Vau. In 1680, under the direction of the architect Jules Hardouin-Mansart, the castle was greatly enlarged. The interior was painted by Charles Le Brun.
